Meredith Vieira also spoke with Taro Alexander (SAY’s Founder & President), Julianna Padilla (a SAY program participant for 9 years), Julianna’s mother (Millie Padilla) and Everett Bradley (the Meredith Vieira show’s Musical Director, Bruce Springsteen E-Street band member & SAY’s amazing Musical Director since 2001). It was such an amazing thrill for all of us.

To see these kids get in front of an audience and speak, which is difficult for anyone, is incredibly moving. What they do just speaks to the power of joining a group and gaining confidence.
In a world where kids who stutter are often mocked, rejected, harassed, and misunderstood…I hope that every child who stutters has an opportunity to benefit from SAY’s programs.
