The SAY: DC Summer Day Camp will take place from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily, June 26-30, 2023. It will be held at the SAY: DC Studio on Rhode Island Avenue NW. The Day Camp is offered 100% free of charge. All project materials will be provided. Campers will need to bring their own lunch and snack.
Over the course of the week, we will explore a variety of approaches to making art, with an emphasis on increasing confidence, maximizing fun, unleashing creativity, and inspiring collaboration. Projects will incorporate creative writing, printmaking, sculpture, painting, mixed-media, drawing, creative movement, imaginative games, textile art, jewelry-making, acting and improvisation. Led by Leigh Pennebaker and Danielle Leneé, the camp will be an awesome opportunity to make new friends and explore self-expression in a caring, safe environment.
