We came together in joy to celebrate VIRTUAL POETRY NIGHTS, the grand finale of SAY’s Confident Voices Winter 2021 program, The Spoken Word Project!
SAY staff, Teaching Artists, friends, and family gathered on Zoom to marvel at the glorious poetry that our fabulous participants created with each other over the last 7 weeks. Our first-ever Spoken Word Project has been so very special and we have loved shining a light on so many wonderful poems and incredible artists, including our magnificent young people who stutter! 💫
To all of our Spoken Word Project poets, THANK YOU for sharing your voices and bringing your powerful words to this space. We are inspired by your openness and boldness and so grateful to have experienced your outstanding work. Always know that you are SEEN, you are HEARD, and you are LOVED! ❤
